Objectives
Breast milk provides the newborn all the proper nutrients and a suitable temperature. In addition, the nursing mother has an ideal opportunity to establish a close relationship with the newborn. Breast milk is the best food for babies (1).
Methods
The South Metropolitan Health Service conducted a pilot study that involved feeding 50 children exclusively breast fed for six months and 50 children with milk until the fourth month of life, and then feed them with milk more nutritious foods and semi-Healthy .
Results
From studies, showed that all children are breastfed exclusively for six months, rose by 99% much as those who are exclusively breastfed until the fourth month of life, and then are fed breast milk More semi-Healthy Nutritious.
On the other hand, in this same study found that 91% of children exclusively breastfed for six months instead of four, have a better motor development, plus 87% of Mothers who breastfed exclusively for six months, had anovulatory periods longer after birth.
Conclusions
The World Health Organization (WHO) has exclusive breastfeeding is recommended during the first six months of life. This recommendation is based on the large number of scientific studies in the area of public health.
Also exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of life, has benefits for the newborn and mother, for example, better motor development and a longer duration of postpartum anovulatory mother.

Conclusions
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that children be(change) exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months of life. This recommendation is based on the completion of scientific tests in the area of public health.
